Because it makes me sad. Olympics should be about the best of our bodies and not the best of broken bodies. I don’t deny their results, it just makes me turn off the tv.
I totally agree. e.g. a woman with a broken back throws a discus 20′ to win a gold medal. It seems more like a form of torture than sport. I’m glad it’s over.

My wife and I just started watching it; all I can say is “I have no excuse for accomplishing my goals in life!” Thanks for the reminder =)
I’ve been wanting to watch the 100 and 200m, because someone I went to high school with is running, but hopefully it’s already in cyberspace!!!
